Services/Software Development

Mobile App & Software Development

We build production-grade mobile apps and full-stack systems for businesses ready to scale.

Who this service is for

  • Businesses that have outgrown spreadsheets, WhatsApp-only operations, or off-the-shelf tools
  • Founders and operators building custom web platforms, dashboards, APIs, mobile apps, or internal systems

Problems we solve

  • Manual workflows, disconnected data, slow reporting, and systems that do not match how the business actually works
  • Products that need reliable architecture, user roles, integrations, payments, dashboards, or long-term maintainability

What we build

  • Custom web platforms, internal dashboards, APIs, mobile apps, and operations systems
  • Role-based portals, reporting tools, approval workflows, and integrations with business software

What is included

  • Discovery, scope definition, delivery planning, and implementation
  • Documentation, handover, and a clear path for support after launch

What is not included

  • Unlimited scope changes after approval
  • Third-party software, hosting, ad spend, or licensing fees unless stated in the agreement

Typical next step

  • Share your goals, current setup, deadline, and constraints
  • We review the fit and respond with the right scope, milestone, or audit recommendation

About this service

Building software that survives past version one is harder than most teams realise. Megatrust Technologies is a Lagos-based engineering studio that designs, codes, ships, and maintains custom web platforms, dashboards, APIs, mobile apps, and internal systems for businesses in Nigeria and selected international markets. Every project we take on is treated like a product we will support after launch, because that mindset is what produces software your team can actually extend.

We work with production-grade technologies including TypeScript, Swift, Kotlin, React Native, Next.js, Fastify, NestJS, Python, Postgres, MySQL, Redis, BullMQ, and modern cloud infrastructure. The stack changes from project to project, but the discipline stays the same: clear requirements, maintainable code, documented handover, and support after launch.

The engineering discipline does not. A typical engagement begins with a paid discovery sprint where we map your users, business model, and constraints into a written technical specification. From there we move into design, where UI/UX work produces wireframes and high-fidelity screens you can test before production code is written.

Engineering happens in structured sprints with demos, a shared roadmap, and direct communication around the work being built. What separates us from the freelance market and offshore body-shops is end-to-end ownership. We do not only write features.

We think about cloud architecture, application security, database design, and how the product behaves when real traffic arrives. When your app needs to talk to Paystack, Flutterwave, Stripe, Termii, SmartSMS, or any of the APIs that power African commerce, we scope the integration carefully. When you want to wire in intelligent features later, our AI automation capability can be brought into the same delivery plan, so smart search, document parsing, or a copilot is scoped properly instead of bolted on casually.

We build for two kinds of buyers. The first is the founder with a clear product idea who needs senior engineering to ship version one without burning runway on premature hires. The second is the operating company that has outgrown its starter site, internal spreadsheet, or off-the-shelf SaaS, and needs custom software that fits the way the business actually works.

Both groups get the same setup: clear scope, transparent progress, milestone-based delivery, and a clean handover at the end. Codebases can include written documentation, CI/CD pipelines, observability, automated tests for critical flows, and a runbook where the project requires it. We hand over the repository, deployment access, environment documentation, and a recorded walkthrough.

You own everything. If you want to take the code to another team tomorrow, nothing is locked behind us. Most clients choose to stay on a maintenance plan because continuity is useful, but the choice is always yours.

For early-stage companies, we also offer fractional product and engineering consultancy where senior technical thinking helps you shape scope, architecture, hiring, and roadmap decisions.

How we work

Our process

01

Discovery

We sit with your team for a few days to map out goals, users, and constraints. You leave with a clear scope and a fixed quote.

02

Design and architecture

Wireframes, data models, and a written architecture document. You approve everything before code is written.

03

Build in two-week sprints

Working software every two weeks. You see progress on a staging URL and give feedback continuously.

04

Launch and support

We handle deployment, monitoring, and the first month of bug fixes. After that, optional retainers cover ongoing work.

After launch

After launch, clients can move into a maintenance plan for updates, monitoring, improvements, and support. New features, hosting, third-party tools, and post-launch support are quoted separately unless included in the project agreement.
