Refund Policy

Megatrust Technologies Limited engages on a milestone-based, professional-services model. Because much of our work is bespoke and labour-intensive from day one, refunds are evaluated case-by-case under the framework below.

1. Discovery deposits

Discovery, audit, and proposal-development deposits cover senior strategist time and are non-refundable once work has commenced. If we cancel a discovery before work begins, the deposit is fully refunded within 14 working days.

2. Milestone payments

Each project is broken into milestones with defined deliverables and acceptance criteria. Once a milestone has been delivered and you have signed off, that payment is non-refundable. If a milestone has been partially delivered, you may request a pro-rated refund based on hours actually worked, provided no acceptance has been issued.

3. Subscriptions & retainers

Monthly retainers (managed cloud, SEO, social, content, security monitoring, support) are billed in advance. You may cancel at any time with 30 days' written notice; we will not refund the current period but no future periods will be charged.

4. Cancellations within 7 days

If you cancel a fixed-fee engagement within 7 calendar days of signing, and we have not yet started senior delivery work, we will refund 100% of payments received less any third-party costs already incurred (e.g., hosting prepayments, paid software licences, stock assets).

5. Defects and missed acceptance criteria

If a delivered milestone does not substantially meet the agreed acceptance criteria, our first remedy is to fix the defect at no cost (see our 30-day warranty in the Terms of Use). Refunds in lieu of fix are considered only when fix is impossible.

6. Online payments

Refunds are issued to the original payment method using the same gateway (Paystack, Flutterwave, Stripe, PayPal, CryptoCloud) or, where the original method is unavailable, by direct bank transfer. Refunds may take 5–14 working days to settle, depending on your bank.

7. How to request a refund
